1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I’m committed to living a healthy lifestyle, but this is new in my life. My commitment to health and fitness began when I challenged myself to a competition at a nearby spin studio of 25 rides in 30 days to kick-off my goal to be more active. Now, I’ve also revamped my diet living a vegan lifestyle. I’m healthier, both mentally and physically, than I’ve ever been. I wish I had gotten moving much sooner!
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
One in five people suffer from treatable mental health conditions, and more than half don’t seek treatment. They suffer in silence, because it’s not talked about. An ongoing lack of understanding, stigmas associated with mental health issues, and lack of coverage for care continue to make this a major concern as we see suicide rates rising worldwide. I hope to show that through proper care and healthy coping mechanisms it's possible to persevere.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Visiting new places and being immersed in other cultures allows you to experience things you can’t at home. You become more understanding about other ways of life and appreciate what you have at home. My husband, Mark, and I have a rule that we will never visit the same place twice. We’ve already been to 16 countries. However, we broke it to return to Aruba – where we were married – for our first anniversary!
4.What is the most random fact you know?
I’ve always heard that as a woman you come into your own in your thirties but never believed it. Now that I’m in my thirties, I feel so much more confident in myself, my relationship, my faith, my career and my future. Looking back, I was still figuring everything out and unsure of each step in my twenties. I have a feeling that in each decade I will continue to feel the same.
